Saturday September 24th at 11am Join Civil War Seattle along with Everett historian Gene Fosheim for a walking tour at Everett's historic Evergreen cemetery. The tour will feature Everett pioneers who had fought in the Civil War. We'll cover local Everett and Snohomish County history as well as Civil War history. Gene Fosheim is a founding member of Historic Everett, Past President of the Everett Museum of History and a life-long Everett resident. He is also author of Everett history book, "Mill Town Boy," which will be available for purchase. Civil War Seattle is a public history project and history walking tour business based around sharing Seattle's deep historic connections to the American Civil War. The tour is $20 per person and will last approximately 60-90 minutes. The tour will begin at the center entrance to the cemetery by the white closed and locked gate. Tour guests should enter at the south, main entrance by the office and just stay to the right and it will lead them to the center of the cemetery.
