Civil War Seattle Private Tour

Service Description

A private group tour for up to 6 people, this 2-hour private walking tour is a more thorough and comprehensive tour than our Seattle's Civil War Legacy tour. Exploring both the Grand Army of the Republic cemetery and adjacent Lake View cemetery, this longer tour is designed for a deeper exploration into Seattle's Civil War connected history. This tour will introduce stories of Seattle's veterans than wore both blue and gray, their wartime experiences and their varied and influential lives in Seattle after the war. This private tour can also be geared toward specific interests in Civil War history. Do you have a specific interest in Gettysburg, or the Western Theater, Civil War prisons, or troops form a certain state? With nearly 800 veterans' histories in the two cemeteries, all aspects of the war and Seattle history are represented, and we can gladly give a tour a special additional focus.
